I have just made a fabulous discovery, namely, that TWOP recapped Twin Peaks. Not when it aired, of course, but ten years after the fact. Still, this is wonderful.
Great and undying is my love for Twin Peaks. This show had a lasting impact on me. I was a junior/senior in high school when it aired, and I credit the show for giving me a love for quirky, unusual, indie-film things. I still play spot-the-Twin-Peaks-alum. Hey, look, it's James Marshall in an episode of CSI. Hey, look, it's Piper Laurie on Law & Order. Hey, look, it's Richard Beymer on DS9. Lara Flynn Boyle will always be Donna Hayward, Heather Graham will always be Annie Wilkes, and of course, Kyle MacLachlan will always be Cooper.
I have the whole show on tape. Well, I have the first season on DVD, which is all that's been released. How long must we wait until they put out the second season? Will they EVER put out the second season? And the first-season DVD does not include the two-hour pilot episode. What the fuck is that about?
Please, tell me there are others on my flist who share my love of the Peaks.
