I came in today thinking about a few posts I wanted to make. I was going to post another question-for-debate. I was going to post a funny poll.

Maybe later. All I feel like doing now is going home and hiding under the covers.

I'm so sorry this has happened to you, London. I'm sorry for whatever part of it may be our fault.

But most of all I'm sorry for everybody, because it seems to me that this incident just proves that no matter what precautions we take, no matter what security measures we institute...these guys can still hit us anytime they want. They can do it because they have focus that we lack. Their fervor does not dim with time, as our vigilance does. They plan and plot with more diligence than we can muster to stop them. Sometimes, I think that's good. It means that we're unwilling to totally lock ourselves down out of fear. But other times, like today, it doesn't feel so good.

Everyone is vulnerable. Anyone could be next. And there's very little we can do about it.
