Oh, it's been awhile...since I posted about BODY PRODUCTS!!!

Actually, I haven't been partaking much of the BBW obsession lately. I'm stocked up on most of my habitual-use products, although it will be time for more cleanser soon. I did pay a visit last week, because Rachel and I have been lusting after the Henri Bendel Home candles that they stock there (they're ridiculously expensive but smell AMAZING) and I decided to splurge and got a lavendar one for her and a white lily one for me.

I'm currently using up my Philosophy Pumpkin Pie 3-in-1 from Sephora that was a gift from heidi8 quite some time ago. I think it's time for a little Sephora online shopping, hmmmmm? Philosophy products are so great. And the 3-in-1's are just so convenient. One bottle, you're all set. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in one convenient package. And they smell so wonderful. There are a few new flavors...Egg Nog, Spiced Cider...oooooooh. I don't think others can smell it on you, but I can sure smell the pumpkiny goodness on myself after a shower.

Besides, I think Sephora may be a major contributor to my Christmas gifts. If my cousin Jackie is reading this, just...forget I said that. But if you have a Philosophy flavor preference let me know.

And now to the important stuff...BBW product reviews!

1. Neem face mask. All my facial products come from their Pure Simplicity line, which is fantastic. This mask, unlike the pumpkin pie mask, is a clay-like mask that does dry and harden somewhat, but it doesn't feel like concrete on your face. It's not drying, in fact your skin will feel quite hydrated and soft afterwards, but it's great for the pores.

2. Various exfoliating scrubs. They have four different scrubs for different skin types; I own three of them. I think my favorite is probably the Pomegranate. It's the gentlest one and the most moisturizing. The Lemongrass is refreshing and better for when you want a more abrasive scrub, and the Tomato is the most abrasive one, but still gentle enough for frequent use. But I still maintain that THE BEST SCRUB in that place is the Honey Buff facial scrub in the True Blue Spa line of products. It's like getting a whole new face. It consists of nothing but honey and jojoba beads. A tip...warm it up a bit first, so you can mix it better (the beads and the honey separate after use).

3. True Blue Spa products...the Shave the Day shaving lotion is the best shaving product I've ever found, and I've spent a lot of time trying different shaving products for PCOS-related reasons. Also, the Best Foot Forward foot lotion is great. I inherited callus-prone heels from my mother, and frequent pumicing coupled with nightly use of this great cream that's both moisturizing and dead-skin-killing keeps them in top shape (or bottom shape, rather...ha ha). The hand exfoliating scrub is okay, but my hands get so dry and I need more exfoliating on them than this lotion provides. Actually, the best hand-treatment I've ever found is Mary Kay's Satin Hands kit. Man, it's like crack. It's a four-step process, but your hands will have never felt better. On the other hand (HA!) the Look Ma, New Hands lotion is terrific. It's sitting here in front of my computer, I use it about eight times a day. It's non-greasy and wonderful and smells a little citrusy. Even so, the best hand lotion in BBW is the Purely Silk hand lotion that comes in all their different scents. lissinthecity will back me up on this. Cotton Blossom is my personal favorite scent.

Pure Simplicity now also has an entire line of Cocoa products. I have a sample bottle of the body lotion and it's verrah nice smelling.

I get to pick up my brand new glasses tonight! Yay!
