More photo meme, also Sam's Club

Mar 17, 2011 18:44

There's almost nothing that makes me feel more like I'm Being An Adult than going to Sam's Club. Tonight I did the "once every 4-6 weeks" trip where I buy a bunch of meat. Four pounds beef stew meat, which gets split into two and frozen, six pounds chicken breasts, which come in handy-dandy freezer-ready 1-lb bags, and Boca burgers. It just feels so frugal and responsible to be splitting and freezing and stocking and preparing, you know?

But I bought what I hope will be my last big-tub-o-hummus because I am going to start making my own! I never had a food processor but a few days ago the Woot sellout deal was an awesome Cuisinart blender-and-food-processor for like $30. MINE YES PLEASE.

Anyway - on to the rest of the photo meme request!

My office (I don't have a cubicle):

Note the THIRD bottle of Gardener's Hand Therapy lotion. And my trusty Contigo to the right of my mouse pad.

She asked to see the break room too but we don't have one. If I want a break I take it in my office, and a lot of people just hang out in the cafeteria sometimes.

Okay, now the closets. I have two closets, here's the overview:

I'll refer to them as Left Left, Left Right, Right Left and Right Right, if that makes sense. The blue cardigan hanging between them is my housecoat thingie. I pretty much throw it on over whatever I'm wearing in the evenings when it's chilly.

Here's the Left Left, also known as Shoeville:

Here's the Left Right, where I keep the in-season tops:

The Left Right, which is wire baskets that hold my casual clothes. Top left, t-shirts. Top right, turtlenecks. Second left, cargo pants and khakis, second right, jeans. Third left, long-sleeve shirts, third right, fleeces. Bottom left, workout shirts, bottom right, workout pants.

And the Right Right, where the pants/skirts/dresses live and the out-of-season tops tucked back in the corner.

Kitchen pantry:

I took a photo of the dashboard of my car but it seems to have vanished. Oh well, it isn't that interesting.
