And so it was one of those weekday 'westmall' outings with my sis...
She had asked me if i believed that when a guy stays with the same girl fer too long a time, its usually not out of love.
I stopped and suddenly, this crazy idea of hers started to make perfect sense. It's true. Guys can never devote their whole heart on a single one of the weaker sex (at least according to that deep guy ego that every one of us have). We stay on because of the responsibilty, our morals, the religions that we have, and in come cases, the marriage cert. The anti-monogamy mentality has become a norm and everyone's reiterating that we should settle down and stick to that special someone.
So why is it that girls can remain devoted to a single guy while we guys can't?
The animal instincts deep down inside everyone one of us are telling us otherwise. Males should be spreading their seeds, making sure that enough of us are around to prevent extinction.
It's a feeling thats subtle, but persistant enough to lead us into lots of trouble...
