Holy Smokes - time condenses this time of year.
We haven't even enjoyed Thanksgiving yet, and I'm already wondering if I will have time to get all my Christmas stuff together.
I hope I manage Christmas cards this year. If you want a card let me know - I'll give you my email address so that you can send me your mailing address. :D If anyone wants to write my Holiday Newsletter for me to help save me some time, let me know that, too. I'm okay with whatever you want to say I did these last 12 months.
This Sunday Monkeys has caved in and agreed to letting me start putting up Christmas decorations (gasp BEFORE THANKSGIVING). He's vehemently against setting-up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, and I do agree with him, but this year has my 40th birthday, Gingerbread party (I hope), several Church functions, the normal crazy work stress of graduation/registration/bachelors admissions, etc. So in light of that he's letting us get a head start. Plus, I would really like to visit friends and family some this year. I haven't gone up to Alabama to visit my mom's family in a year or more. So, time is even more precious this year - which necessitates drastic action. Dun dun dun. The idea is that if people are over on the Saturday before Thanksgiving then they won't be over again until after Thanksgiving, so if we put the tree up on Sunday and maybe decorate the mantel, then no one will see it but us - aaaaaaaaaaand we just won't enjoy them until after T-giving. :D Tada! Plan formed.
