Busy Busy Busy! Between the raindrops and tornadoes...
I was busy today!
I dropped off some clothes at Goodwill.
I dropped off some food at a local food bank.
I dropped off some letters at the post office.
I got a lot of stuff done at the bank that needed doing.
I think Publix actually paid me thanks to a buy-one-get-one-free/coupon combo.
I also almost stuck to just my grocery list at Walmart.
I remembered to bring in my bags to Publix/Walmart so I didn't need any plastic bags.
I've done six loads of laundry so far (white towels, 2Xcolored towels, street clothes, 2Xwork clothes) because had seriously been putting off doing laundry.
I reorganized the spices (we have a lot of spices) and merged duplicates.
I reorganized one of the cabinets (bowls and plastic containers)
I reorganized the tea cabinet.
I cleaned out the frig.
I cleaned the kitchen counters.
I did the dishes. And, after cooking, did the dishes again.
Yes, you read that right. I cooked dinner! A made a modified Alton Brown pork chop recipe that turned out amazing. I also made sweet potato chips and a giant salad. (The salad was *really* good.) And for desert I made S'mores pudding - which is crazy easy. Chocolate pudding with layers of marshmallows and graham crackers. Publix had goldfish graham crackers BOGO, and they were perfect for it because they are tiny.
I still have another load of laundry and to fold the clothes in the dryer. I need to do DDR because I ate a lot today. Argh. And I have some prep work for tomorrow. Plus, there's still so much I want to do. I want to vacuum and to clean out the dining room - but I don't think that's going to happen.
It is rainy rainy rainy! We had a tornado warning for our county today, but I think it must have been north of where I live.
