I finally saw Wall-E. It was as good as everyone said it was. (Sigh, I was stupidly happy to see BnL written everywhere.) I was also happy to see Eve go so quickly from giggling to shooting anything that moves to giggling again. Makes me feel better about the fact that I do it, too. :)
Also recently saw the XFiles movie, and I loved it. I had to hide my eyes through a lot of it, but I loved how Mulder and Scully were portrayed, and I adored Billy Connelly (not his character, but him). I was also happy to recognize the girl from Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
The weekend before that we saw The Dark Knight. We went "with" a bunch of friends who all bought their tickets on-line at different times and ended up at the same Rave but in different theatres. Four in Theatre 5, three in Four, four in Three, and one in Two (or something like that). We tried to get other patrons to switch tickets with us so that we could all be together but no one would swap.
droidgirl did sneak into Theatre Three with Monkeys, Toaster, D, and me. Otherwise she would have been all by herself. :) We actually ended up in the best theatre - the employee guarding ours was *much* nicer than the uberrulesmustbefollowedgrrrr guards at their theatres. LOVED this movie/LOVED the Joker.
Not much of a post - just waiting for Venture Brothers. :)
