So my stupid computer (with Windows XP, Service Pack 3, all updated as of yesterday) was just telling me it was 2.20pm MST, while my cellphone insisted it was 1.20pm, as did the USNO atomic clock.
I checked the settings, and it was set to automatically adjust for daylight savings and it was showing that the current time zone was Mountain Standard Time. But the time was off by an hour.
I fixed it by going to the "Internet Time" tab and clicking "Update now".
But that should not have been necessary. Anyone have any ideas what might have happened?
EDIT: Never got the "Windows has reset your system clock" message either. So what I had is the system tray clock claiming it was Mountain Standard Time not Daylight Savings Time but the time was actually DST.
