Has anyone looked at Hillary's healthcare plan. For those of you who did not see "Sicko", this is what Michael Moore predicted. I think it is as bad as I can imagine it. See if I am wrong. Basically, it would require Americans to purchase coverage, "Like auto insurance

The health care price is set by a combination of the premiums that the "malpractice" insurers charge doctors and hospitals; the cost of a doctor's education; new technologies that are emerging to help diagnose and cure sickness/wounds; pharmaceutical companies looking to cover their expenses/profit off of multiple years of drug research with one successful drug; and finally hospitals and health insurance companies seeking to make a profit off of disease and accidents.

Pretty long list of factors contributing to the cost of health care, and a simple HSA is not going to solve the problem. And the best part is that almost none of it has anything to do with patients "stopping by ER for a hangnail". I love that HR example, shit you'd think in 10 years they would have come up with a new example.

An HSA was conceived by corporations looking to cut their health care expenses. When Walmart went to the HSA, it was written on the door that many non-union corporations would be following suit as soon as their current health insurance agreements expired.
