Fandom, and hello real life

Sorry guys, but I'm going to be on a Buffy high for quite a while now.  Revisiting this series is like, wow, I should watch an episode of Buffy or Angel every day.  I'm aware that a lot of people on my flist have not seen it, but oh well, deal. :p
I just love the characters, the dialogue, the stories, and the way every season (with the exception of the fourth season of Angel) is better than the one before it.
Oh, and another thing I love about it; When a relationship is unhealthy, the problems are brought to light, and if things are not fixed, that relationship eventually ends.  It doesn't gloss over unhealthy relationships for the sake of being hawt.

Also, college starts next week.  I don't wanna goooo!  No, I'm not technically "going" anywhere, I'm commuting from home, but still.
I am not ready to be an adult and plan for my future!  I still have all that annoying uncertainty, I'm still not totally sure what I want to do.  And it doesn't help that I change my mind so often either.  I'll be so certain of what I want one day and the next I'll doubt myself and think of something else.  My mom had the same problem and changed her major so much she had to go into the military with my dad to get out of debt, and that lead to some really bad things for my family.
*hits self over the head and tells self to stop whining*
Oh!  Upside!  I'm going to apply for a volunteer job at the Children's Museum, which is probably my favorite part of this city.  It's not a paying job, but it's something for my resume, and getting to go to the Children's Museum every week would be awesome.
And, I'm going to try and join some clubs when I start college too.  Everyone keeps telling me that's the best way to come out of my shell and gain more social confidence, so I'll try it.
