I wish I could tell that to the manager, but, it's our VP of Ops has the say on bodies hired, and the company is C.H.E.A.P. Right now, the manager's on extended time off. (supposedly medical leave for migraines, but, the opinion is it's just to get away during the time of year when this issue is at it's worst. She's been off since the 4th of July weekend, and she's not due back until the 16th of next month. The interim manager's trying to get a better handle on things, but we can't exactly go making major changes in policy when it'll revert back to the way things have always been once she returns. And the VP of Ops reads what we all put in the logbook, I he gets copies of it every Monday through Friday, starting with everything that's been written in it since the preceding Friday morning. But neither of them actually are around to see what the kids are like in the wee hours, and even putting it in the book and all the complaints in the world don't do it justice. Even so, I'd still feel like a rat deserting a sinking ship, b/c it's really just the manager pro tem and me that're holding the place together and keeping it running... but the way things are going, they might as well just sell out to the school, in which case they'll have to hire a whole new staff for this place....
