What are we thinking?
Why is it when a child gets physically ill that the mother's reaction is to stick her hands out and attempt to catch the results? I hav never understood this. I have had this discussion with my own mother and she couldn't explain it and didn't understand it either, and yet for years she has found herself covered in the vomit of her children.
And so the tradition continues...
At 2:30 last night, I found myself standing in my kitchen cupping two handfuls of regurgitated cherry kool-aid. Thanks goodness he had already gotten rid of the chunky stuff.
So my little boy is home sick from school today. He seems to feel a little better this morning, but I didn't want to take the chance of infecting the other kids. His teacher told me when I picked him up yesterday there was "something going around". They had 2 call out and 2 that they sent home early.
