I was at an elegant restaurant the other night having a great dinner with the girls when this really cute guy walked by our table. We watched him get to his seat where he waited with a bunch of his "amigos"... Anyway, we give them a couple of looks and notions to come and join us and so they do.

The night was going by smoothly yahtah yahtah yahtah.. When all of a sudden I noticed something! I phased myself out of my infatuated scene and realized that this guy was talking to us, especially me, like we were stupid or something.. He kept repeating what he thought were big words and he kept explaining a lot of current events that hello! I pick up the newspaper in the morning there too you sexist pig. And then... He gets into his job..

Ohh wow, he looked and sounded like a succesful business man, or a lawyer or something.. Which in my statement that will be coming up, I hold no offense to any job but... He was actually a waiter for another restaurant!!!! He was being treated out by his "compadres!".. I mean, I have no disrespect for waiters or waitresses, I mean, Hello! I waitered a denny's when I was in high school? duh.. But for him to be speaking to me and my girls like a a couple of 1st grade girls, was so whatev!.. I immediately shut down the conversation when he laughed at me for looking lost! We stood up and I said to him, "FYI, I passed high school with a 3.7 average, and I was student body Pres, and now I'm a high ranked, Jaguar driving, 6-figure salary earning manager at a store at the mall... Oh, and by the way, while you're sitting here asking your friends to borrow 5 or 10 dollars, My friends are asking me if they can borrow 5 or 10 hundred dollars... psshh! "Chow-mein" and that was the end of it..

Ugh gross, I wish more people took Christina Aguilera a little more seriously... Other than her trying to be from another race, she actually sends a good message for the rest of us girls, we are just as strong as the boys in the corporate world. And we will not be bought out by their manly money, cause honey, I have my own.
