I guess its time I update this thing.
I just moved into this collective in rock islan illinois (3 hours away from chicago) and I already love it here. its the food not bombs house of this area so I can live here for free if I help dumpster food and cook. its also I bike collective in the warmer times. great show space and also just a bunch of cool people who are really positive about projects and actually doing shit. its called the rhizome.
its 400 a month for the 2 upstairs apartments so when I do get money ill only have to pay 50 bucks a month. fuck yeahhh. and no lease. I'm so happy right now.
I also have this boyfriend here who is really awesome and he works as a prep cook at this place called old chicago.
haha the other morning I woke up when he got home from work to a pizza a vegan cookie and a 24 oz sierra nevada (dank beer) it was like the sweetest thing ever.
he plays in this band called lordgreen and I met him when they played at the ponypen for metal fest. it was cool cause they knew my sister and shit and are from iowa. they wanna do an east coast tour this summer and I'd love to see if frederick or baltimore would wanna have a show
