Buffy and I hit the mall this weekend. It was a total shopping adventure and the stores and fellow shoppers didn't stand a chance against us. We went in with a plan and police radios. What? It was a good way to keep in touch with each other when we split up to hit the sales.
It helps to have someone who is wicked strong when you are shopping in bulk. Buffy was able to carry bags of stuff and we didn't have to keep running back and forth to the car as much as most shopping pairs did. Hah. Sucks to be them. Everyone should have a slayer for a shopping partner.
Jack is caught up with his secret present for Kim. I made him spill and I'm being the best secret keeper ever, because I haven't told anyone, including Xander, what the big romantic has planned. Seriously, Jack is one of the good guys, you know? Him and Xander are like the last of the great romantic heros.
Woah. I have been reading way too many romance novels. Not my fault really. Things have been so slow with actual crime, both on the human and demonic front, that we actually patrolled a high school carnival. Snyder was in the dunking booth. The line to take a shot at him? Very long, but totally worth the wait. In between shopping and carnival patrols, I've been reading cheesy romance novels. Maybe I should pick up some books that have more substance. Nah, it's too much fun reading the really sappy parts out loud when Jack, Trick or Sean are around.
