Few happies
1. Dad is completely off of ventilator and breathing on his own, had absolutely no problems. This is HUGE as they were "so sure" he wouldn't be able to breathe on his own w/o help. He was sitting up and trying to talk. This was yesterday, all this just a few hrs after surgery. Woot, woot! They're supposed to make him walk tonight. I'm going to pop in after work. MIL said she didn't mind keeping the girls a little longer.
2. My BFF found out today she is having a boy. I know she deep down wanted a girl, but I know she'll be in love w/ her little boy. They're thinking "Max" right now. He was perfectly healthy and measuring right on schedule. Now, I can finally buy her something since we know he's a he. I was also going to get her the "Expecting" Willow Tree since she loves those things. I'm excited to buy boy stuff since I obviously cannot do that, but I wouldn't trade my girls for anything of course. We're very close and we'll be doing lots of shopping and so it'll be a nice change to get in boy mode instead of always being in girl mode.
3. I had my eval today and they said my boss had all nice things to say about me and I got a little raise. Woot, woot!
*See, LJ isn't hurting my work productivity, lol.;-)
4. B has safely arrived in San Antonio. It'll honestly be nice to have the place to myself for a few nights.;-)
