i never update this thing anymore. there's not much to say i guess.
i started school again. learning swedish. fun stuff. we spent the first 2 hours today trying to explain 24-hour time to half the class. "no, 13:00 is the same as one o'clock" over and over and over and over and ov...you get the idea. by the time we were done with it, i was thinking "i don't even want to know what time it is". was pretty intense. then we learned question words. most of this is review for me, but i'm learning new words every day. i finally broke the language barrier with my father in law. all i did was ask if i could take 24 eggs to my friend Margaret (which is another story altogether). Kan jag ha tjugofyra ägg? is how you say it, and i managed to get it out without stumbling over myself. that's a good feeling :)
so anyway, that's pretty much it. i haven't been doing much else. spent a month at my mom's this summer, but that'll take an extra entry, so don't hold your breath.
oh, and blast from the past: only one person on my friend's list will remember, but i got an email from Todd Hall. how's that for bizarre? i think it's been like 5 years. cool tho :)
