I got a puppy!
She's a Corgi/Jack Russell mix, about seven months old, and soooo cute. I brought her home from the shelter yesterday, and I'm totally in love. I took these pictures with my cell phone camera, so they kind of suck. Dad took some good ones yesterday with an actual camera, so once he emails them to me, I'll post them, too.

While I do love her, and I'm excited to have her here, I did have a few moments yesterday where I really missed Penny. It will be a strange new world to have a dog that isn't sick all the time right away. It's interesting to me that Spock is seven months old, and it was seven months ago that Penny died. It's too soon to tell if we'll have the same kind of connection, but for now, it's just nice to have a dog again.
