An honour, I suppose
I have been approached by my old school to be a speaker/presenter at their annual Careers Day on 20 June.
They would like me to do 2 presentations - one on careers in the Finance sector (well, I did spend 20 years working in a bank - and Trace does specialise in placing in this sector) and also general "get the job" tips, like resume writing, interview techniques, etc.
I'm actually looking forward to doing both of these - they'll be about 40 minutes each session - and one of the company directors has also agreed to be there with me (thankfully! I'll need the support!).
So, holidays have now been brought forward 1 week, so that I can be back in Brisbane for the date.
