Where Have I Been?
Ohhh my goodness...it has been so long since I updated this thing!!! Okay get ready for this very stream of consciousness post...cause I have a feeling I'm just going to start typing and never stop, ahaha. There has been so much that's happened, I'm not sure what to talk about. Well...for starters, summer has been amazing. Orientation was by far the best job I have ever had. I met some of the most amazing people who I was able to really bond with and I met some equally great freshman who I can't wait to get to know better once the year starts. The sessions were so much fun and the skit we did was quality entertainment!!! I think the one thing I miss most is just living with all the O'Leaders and being able to be in LA without any homework or obligations besides O'stuff. It was something I will never forget and I hope I have the time to O'Leader again next summer. I seriously am going through withdrawls...yet at least I have the memories to keep with me always. After O'Leading I came home for not even a week before I left for Atlanta. I went there to watch my sister because she was in the Junior Olympics for volleyball. I was thinking I was going to be totally bored but instead I met someone there and we both totally hit it off. I am really happy and we've been dating for about a month now. I love when you meet someone and you feel like you have known them forever and it's just so easy to talk to them. It's kinda fun too because I loooveee older men, and he's definitely older! So I've been really happy with the boy situation...we are going snorkeling next week - I can't wait, cause I haven't seen him in awhile because he's been in Texas. So besides meeting Tim in Atlanta, it was a really fun trip - I loved the city and definitely had a better time than I ever thought I would at a volleyball tournament (my sister too 5th too, so that was great)! Then after Atlanta, I've just been working three days a week in the botique I always work in summers and holidays. It's been nice to get a little extra cash. Especially because I just booked a trip to New York City yesterday and I need to save up!! I'm so excited because some of my friends are going and its like only my favorite city ever!!! We are going in October and I get to visit my friends at Columbia (Christine and Dacia)!!! Lets see...what else?! Oh I've seen some great movies this summer: The Devel Wears Prada, Pirates II, You Me and Dupree, The Monster House, Cars, Over the Hedge, and Click. Also rented some great movies too. I've also been reading a lot - I'm currently reading Dan Brown's Digital Fortress...it's really good if you liked his other books! Plus its all about cryptography and I just took a class on all that last semester, so it's really really interesting! I'm getting back into writting too...I just started working on one of my scripts that I sorta have been ignorings - my goal is to at least get 20 more pages done by the summer...we shall see! I'm going to see RENT tomorrow at the Pantages - I'm really excited. I love that musical...I've seen it on Broadway, so I'm interested to see how it does out here in LA. Then after I'm eating dinner in Hollywood with my mom and sister. Speaking of LA...I can't wait to move back. Summer is great, but I really miss LA because there is absolutly nothing to do in Orange county (especially where I'm from) except go to movies, dinner, and the beach. At least if I was 21 we could go explore fun bars and whatnot, but it just gets so damn boring...it's the same old scene over and over again...so I can't wait to be back in LA with LMU life. And I'm super excited to move into my new appartment next year - I'm living in O'Malley with some great people who I can't wait to get to know even better. Plus I get to live with Kels who I miss so much. We just talked on the phone today and I think we are going to finally hang out this sunday and catch up on life - yay!! OH gosh so my friend Courtney got me obsessed with Entourage and so now I went out and bought both season one and two and thats all I've been watching, ahaha - so cheesy but I love it. Ohhh I know what else happened this summer - we had a party for Jennae up at there apparment in Westwood and it was soooooo much fun. It basically was a massive drunked fest but it was so fun to be with some of my favorite people. The memories were by far hilarious and unforgetable. I can also definitely say this summer has been full of surprises....from trying new things to reveling unexpected things...yes that was vague, but I can only share so much in a visable journal. Hahah. Well I should probably end there, plus I dont really expect anyone to read this whole thing from start to finish...that is unless you were bored and then I totally understand because I would have done the same thing. Ohhh my...its Entourage time...night all!
