My experience

Well recently I had blogged abt how small small things can bring immense happiness, now I have got one more instance to validate my point.
Recently one of my friend’s mom told me that a farmer’s kid had to be operated and that farmer is badly in need of money.
Dunno y, that thing kept hovering in my mind. Then I thought of sending this contribution request to all my colleagues and friends.
I sent this mail to everyone. One of the manager came to me and said he was interested in knowing more details. I tld him n then he gave me the idea of keeping a contribution box in office.
First I didn’t buy that idea but thgt there is no harm in trying this so I kept a contribution box for a week..
That day, the program manager came to me and said what made u do this. I told him clearly
“when people don’t mind blowing of 500 bucks in a game like bowling then they shouldn’t mind saving a kid’s life”
Initially people were hesitant but after many reminder mails were sent. People did finally start contributing.
The same program manager came to me after few days n said that he was proud of me. Then my answer (was filmy as usual) “ yeh hain youngisthan, chanhon tho kuch bhi hai aasan”
Yest I gave the box to my friend’s mom. When checked a whooping Rs 9400 had got collected (this is apart from online contribution done by juniper folks).

All said n done, this might be a very very petty effort from my side to make that kid’s world more happier place, but it got me colossal contentment.
