In which the Long Night causes headaches

[Sophie switches on the journal, thinking to make a post, and then kind of forgetting as her mind turns to the more pressing matter of hello migraine because of Long Night. Eventually she remembers she turned this thing on for a reason. Even if she... forgets to filter it. Oops.]
Ohhh, my head. Ugh, this is just my luck. First I get kidnapped in the middle of the night, then there's life-draining crazy people, and now a Long Night headache on top of everything else.

Come to think of it, I probably shouldn't try any spells. I've heard of that sort of thing going wrong before, this time of year... Is that what all the noise out there is about?
[She pauses as there are more distant noises on-ship that the journal can't quite pick up. Evidently Long Night shenanigans are in full swing. Until she notices the time her journal is displaying. Mid-morning, far later than she usually sleeps.]
...Oh dear, is that really the time? [A sigh] Well. Nothing for it. Might as well get dressed and find myself a cup of tea. That might help.
[Another thump, and the post is turned off.]
