In which an inquiry, and an apology, are made

Anyone have any ideas, opinions or thoughts on growing flowers, or some kind of plant, on an airship? Maybe a small garden. They could even be used as scenery/props!

I've been missing having plants about.

I think that is a simply lovely idea! I used to have a garden before I joined the Way -- and we could grow all sorts of herbs and things that we could use for cooking and medicine too!

The only question is, where would we put the fertilizer? It has to be someplace that gets enough sun and won't be disturbed by the other crewmembers...

Yes! And flowers make people happy, yes? Actually, we could even sell them to the audience so that they could throw them at the stage when the performance is over!

Surely there's an out-of-the-way place on deck where we could have a little garden? Or, like, a little balcony no one uses? Hm...

There is an adorable little area by one of the windows in the galley that would be perfect -- although Watanuki might break if we spread fertilizer in there. (I know he apologized for overreacting to the spoons, but I do worry about him sometimes!)

Maybe someplace on deck? That certainly gets enough sun! Especially after the whale destroyed half of it. Maybe we could replace the debris with a garden?

Yes, I think maybe it's best to not make Watanuki angry. I like eating food, after all.

The deck might be best. Lots of space, lots of sun. And we could even use some of the leftover debris to build little corrals for the pots and things, so they don't go sliding all over during a storm or something.

But only, of course, if we get the captain's okay first.

What a wonderful idea! I think the captain would be all right with it -- after all, it would be quite useful, and we'd be recycling some of the debris. Er...maybe we should wait to ask him, though. I think he's just a teeny bit cranky from seeing all the damage that happened while he was gone.

Yes, I noticed that. Waiting would, um, probably be best.
