This would be a new post since last year.
Last year was absolutely boring …and I’m still bored.
Last Sunday, I was so disappointed because the salon Mr. Shin (the Japanese hairstylist who worked for toni & guy for six years) owns is closed on Sundays. So I started a mad search for somewhere else.
I found Tony & Jackey in makati, a pretty new upscale salon which opened just a month ago. I’ve read that all their stylists were professionals in korea. And some even studied in Toni & Guy (and the price is reasonable… the other one I went to since high school had price changes when I visited every month. And really… it’s just a really small price difference. I wanted to try something new)
“Senior stylist Calvin Kim was director-in-charge of G. Hair World in Korea. He also trained in Australia for a while.”
Got that info somewhere in the net. He’s really nice and he was actually talking with me all the way through the ordeal, which was pretty long since he really did everything. I'm not complaining. *Awed* I now understand how
yuffchan and
jo_maxwell can talk about their haircuts in their Lj’s. They are a cool bunch of hairstylists. I think one of them reminds me of rose from trax. (Must be the hairstyle…) and it really is a different type of salon here. I’ve never seen anything like it before. They specialize in asian perm and rebonding.
The hairstyle is pretty much the same except that he hacked my long back. He thought it was cool But the cut is really different. It’s like easier to see the sections and looks really like *erm* Korean wavy hair sorta. And bangs!! I don’t know what it is with them but they keep on insisting I need bangs. They said it makes me look younger. I think it’s just about to cross the line of the Lolita type. No. It is not. I hope. We’ll see… once I’ve shampooed it that is.
Summary: I look like L from Death Note.
Mine is just longer Hmmm.. I'm thinking if i should get a perm...
I’ll post my pic as soon as I get it back. (i feel weird taking a purikura all by myself... so didnt)
*my clinical instructor will kill me…*
Anyway, I went to Inagiku in Makati Shangri La. The Japanese food was really good. And yes, I spend most of my time outside eating in expensive restaurants. I’m free. It’s what my mother and her best friend do. I’m not against eating good food
The Japanese manager was talking with me (my conversation skills has reached a new low). I want soba or ramen… I stuffed myself silly with desserts (red beans~). I crave for onigiri! Where can you buy good ones here?!
Last time I went there, I surprisingly met yuffchan in the other restaurant Heat. (just to remind myself…hmm.)
