(no subject)
just applied for my student loan FINALLY, after waiting almost three months. ridiculous. two weeks ago - actually, now that i think about it, this was like almost a month ago - after karaoke night, noah tried to finish my loan application online in renata's room, when we were all drunk. needless to say, it didn't work. but i finished it today by myself! woo proud...
so that was another goal for my break that i managed to do (in fact i think it's the only goal i managed to do). but now, we have new years figured out. and all of a sudden i realize i have less than three days to finish all this shit at home. vacation goes by fast, in the end, even though sometimes it feels like it is dragging. i'm not quite prepared to be back at school and doing homework and trying to keep my life in order and APPLYING FOR JOBS (that is the scariest part, especially cause i haven't done my other goal, which is write my resume). oh yeah, and making sure snow trip goes off with out a hitch - now THAT is going to be interesting. i forget how much crap happens in winter quarter, esp from the staff point of view - screw your roommate (who is going to be my date?!?!!?), looking ahead to boat dance, and i already mentioned snow trip. it's gonna be busy. plus job search, that has to happen.
so yeah, new years is happening. and in the next three days i have to: see diane, mike, and joey (separately, because joey hates diane). spend some more time with my family, especially my grandma. go to mal educacion with cristina, at least in theory. go to the doctor's again. go shopping (i think) with caryl. this doesn't sound like a lot, but it is! and then friday morning i have to get up early and drive to SF for the big night.
i will be glad to be back at school, though. saturday i get to move back in, clean my room, probably take a nap on my wonderfully comfy futon, and probably watch some tivo. and try to rest up for the next quarter.
