i love barack obama. here's the thing. i bought the newsweek with him on the cover and as usual, he just stirs me up. i know he's not perfect, no one is, but what i like about him is the fact that he really seems like he BELIEVES in shit. john kerry didn't really do that for me. i mean, i know he believed in stuff too, but his seemed so intellectual, like he did it because he was running for president and that's what people who are running for president do. no, i believe obama really feels it. and the work he does comes from his beliefs, not the other way around. he makes me think that maybe this is the way people felt about kennedy - not that kennedy was great, in the end, but he inspired emotion in people, positive emotion, not negative, not like the gutwrenching dislike i have for bush, but this new feeling of possibility that is hinged on one guy. oh barack obama. so cool. obama in '08!!!
