Long job fair day was long. It was a lot of fun though and very productive. Highlight of the day had to be when we had a guy come over to the stand to ask if we had anything part time. We asked what he was doing at present, and he said he was training to be a professional wrestler. o_O
Logged in to LJ briefly yesterday and saw Seiya's post about the DSi. After some more reading on it, I'm starting to form my opinion on it, and it's not a wildly positive one.
For a start they've ditched the GBA slot, so the rumble pack will no longer work, you can't play Guitar Hero On Tour on it, and what about the Pal Park option in Pokemon? I'm sure there are other games that will be affected by this, but it seems pretty silly to remove major part of one of their most successful games, and make another utterly unplayable.
I also see no point in the camera and music files - mp3 players and digital cameras will surely provide much better quality, and if I want to listen to music while playing games (assuming I'm not listening to the in-game music of course) then I'll put some on my CD player.
The only thing that interests me is DSWare. Even then though I've only bought one WiiWare game because nothing else interested me, so if there's nothing good on DSWare then... well, meh.
So yeah, all in all it seems a little pointless, and my faithful DS Lite will be staying with me.
