I'm getting a somewhat old computer from hms42 to put a local Linux server on just for my own use. There won't be any need for GUIs, but I'll want something that I can install developer software on without having to do extensive customization. Any thoughts on what's best these days? I looked at Red Hat, but they seem to be offering just the Enterprise version these days.
