Stop using that word correctly!

I know it's a lost battle that the word "hacker" has been appropriated to mean people who do bad things on computers, but it's gone a little too far when the people who appropriated it object to using its original meaning, and even to the intermediate meaning it once had of gaining unauthorized access through a deep understanding of system weaknesses.

From Twitter's glossary: "Hacking: Gaining unauthorized access to an account via phishing, password guessing, or session stealing. Usually this is followed by unauthorized posts from the account. Users often use the word 'hacking' for many things that are not hacking."
