To honour Leigh Bowery...
He's not nearly as well known as he should be, or rather, most of the people I mention him to haven't heard of him, despite the fact that he was fabulous and also made in Melbourne. He fled, of course, to England, where he created fantastic performance art. He died on New Year's Eve 1994. These photos may give some indication of what I'm up to with the red velvet, in any case, you need to see them.
