Jacqui, Sam, Alex and I saw Tony today. He is doing so amazing!!! Every time I see him he has made another jump in progress. Today he was nodding yes and no to every question, responding really quickly. He made steady eye contact, and he didn't keep drifting off to sleep. He would look around the room, at each person talking; he could tell where voices were coming from. I held his hand, and he kind of moved his fingers against mine. But the best part is, he SMILED! We were telling him about Tyler Connelly wearing a black silk nightdress at Mr. GHS and he smiled. He also smiled several other times. We were talking about people at school, and old Mr. GHS's and plays, and songs by bands, and when we asked him if he remembered what we were talking about he nodded yes. He nodded yes that he'd like to do Mr. GHS and that Stu should do it too. He smiled when we talked about his part in Night of Jan. 16. His birthday is April 20th, and he nodded yes when I asked if he wants us to have a party for him in his room. When it was time to go, his mom asked him to wave goodbye to us, and he tried right away. He is doing so awesome, you could tell that he was listening and understanding, and he's getting better with moving his hands. YAY!
