So, I got a phone call back from VNA about an interview!! I still have to call them back to schedule when, since the woman called when I was in class and left a message, but it'll be sometime next week. Here's my dilemma: what do I wear?! I've never really been on a non-retail interview, so I don't know what to do! Do I have to go out and buy a business suit? I mean, it's only an internship. Should I just wear a nice pair of black editor pants and a sweater or a shirt and cardigan? HELP!!
This Saturday I'll more than likely be at the Twin-A/Granian/The Argument show @ Sin-E. Who else is going?
I am SO pissed at my current employer. I fucking requested Valentine's Day off, and what does my boss do?! She fucking puts me on the schedule for Valentine's Day. And not just something fair like opening. No. She has me fucking CLOSING UNTIL 10:00. There goes any chance of me having any plans. Also, I gave her my current class schedule, including that I have class on Thursdays from 11:15-12:10, and what does she do? Schedules me to fucking OPEN. I cannot stand working there anymore, I really can't. I hate retail. They hired someone else with the same position as me to help alleviate my hours, and then they completely fuck me over?! Hopefully this interview will go well and I won't have to deal with this anymore. PLEASE let that happen. I just called my boss and left her a message. We'll see how that goes.
