Good Morning Morgantown! Well maybe Good night morgantown. I figured i would bring the Mader Chronicles back...not really by popular demand but i just thought about how long it's been.
So Senior year. What can I say. I started writing in my journal in my freshman year and was kinda spotty through out my sophomore and junior years but im going to try and make a committement this semester. I wish i could say the same about my school work. I have so many things to get caught up on tomorrow its not even funny and here I am writing in my journal. Just like old times huh?
Monday I have a Spanish Composition that needs to be turned in all revised with all the accent marks i forgot to put in :/ whoops. Tuesday I have nothing really that i have due but ill take that day to catch up more on PS 300 readings and assignments. I hate classes that are self-paced because let's face it, it's too easy to fall behind. I have an ass load of assignments that i need to get done and turn in. O and for Monday too i have to have two historical questions to discuss with the class in preparation for our test on October 8th.
Moving to Wednesday I have a Spanish exam at 9:30am, yuck. Wednesday afternoon will likely be used to read up some more on PS 300 and of course study for my PS 364 test on Thursday. I find it funny that all but one of my classes has the word foreign policy/culture this semester. The only one that doesnt is PS 300 which is empirical analysis which is basically a research design class. Its actually fun but hard to get motivated to do things.
Other than school, not much has developed in my life. I mean, instead of working for political campaigns when I get out of school, I really want to get into a govt agency somewhere as an intel analyst. Of course that will most likely be after grad school. God, i need to look into taking the GRE. The next oooo 52 weeks will probably be some of the busiest I have had.
Im working at Burger King which most friends who read this will already know. I think most of them have come through and seen me working there. I also, and most of the time now since a few weeks ago, have been working at the Smoothie place. its a pretty awesome job. I mean no offense to the people who i work with who may read this, but I really just like being over there by myself, relying on myself and getting things done. If i screw up, its my bad. If I do well, well i have only myself to credit. But anyone who comes by after 6pm to see my at BK should take notice that i most likely am down at Freshens at that point. But still come on by.
Over the summer, I worked at Kroger back home instead of my normal steel fabrication job that ive done in years past. My dad got laid off from Integris Metals so i had to find somewhere else to go and since i already go to Kroger for Xmas, i knew they would hire me back. I was trained on register and did a pretty kick ass job at it too. Not only that, I made some good friends over the summer. I cant say that i really minded the job either. I mean the occasional elderly person that is pissed because you didnt have the right brand of green beans does get on your nerves but hey, they're old. You gotta keep'm happy while they are still around. Well, either way, im glad to be back at the old BK. I have to say that its probably the best job ive ever had. I get paid seven bucks an hour to hang out with friends for 6 hours a day. O yeah, and serve you all food.
Well, I think that its about time for bed. I need to be up early tomorrow in order to get my homework for the weekend done.
Later dudes.
ps hahaha. I just went through to spell check with my Mozilla Firefox. It kindly reminded me that "assload" is actually two words. Thanks spell check
