Whats wrong with us alcoholics? We are the fun ones!
Well I am back to school so i figured I would start back up my somewhat daily journal.
I moved in Sunday after several delays. First i was unaware that i could not move in early seeing as how my roommate is in the band. Well that pushed it back till atleast friday. Since Friday is official move in day at WVU I avoided that day as well. Saturday could have been a perfect day however I had been invited by numberous people to attend an event for the future Senator from West Virginia, John Raese. It was sort of cool. They had some food and drinks and a surprising number of people who showed up.
After the day with John and his wife and such, it was time to face the music and head back down to Morgantown for year three at WVU. Hopefully, ill be getting out of school soon and will be able to head out and do my own thing although i will miss all the friends i have met here.
But anyway, got moved in and put things away and I think it is going to be a fun year. I have known my roommate here for quite a while. We worked at McDonald's together back in the day.
Monday came sooner than i had hoped and i went off to one of my two classes. yes two. I now have 6 but due to class closings and such i hadnt been able to register for any classes till i got signed in by the professor.
My schedule is as follows
MWF
Accounting 201---8:30am
History 413 (rennaisance to napoleon)-------9:30

Philosophy 170---i forget the time

Poli sci 301Intro to intelligence analysis (CIA stuff)-----8:30
ECON 202
POLi sci311 Political Parties.
Not a bad scheudule at all. I am done with everything by mid afternoon.
I havent met many new people yet here. Its only the third day so we will see what lays in store.
My RA is pretty cool. I know her from the first year i was here although she wasnt my RA then. But anyway,
Day two was somewhat interesting. I thought the political course i was taking would be witht the same people as it always is but i found two friends in there i have known since i have been here so it should be a fun class. the professor is a libertarian and is kinda funny. He boasts about getting someone deported because he flunked the course due to plagerism.
This evening i went to hall council and it was somewhat boring. I used to be president in the first year but got bored with it. I think that this year i will stick to behind the scenes idea generator. I dont want credit or to be in the spotlight but i want to help make some of the freshmen students have a great year on campus.
I missed the College Republican meeting tonight. Not for any reason in particular other than accounting but i just didnt feel like heading down to the lair.
I figured i will run two journals. one at livejournal which you are reading now, and one at myspace. This one will be just a day by day chronicle and the one on myspace will be a topic oriented blog. I think if i get the chance tomorrow i will write about tom cruise and how i dont understand the point to getting involved with celebrity life.
