Dear Emma,
You could be giving some thought to redecorating or remodeling your home right now, and you might even start thinking about moving into nicer surroundings. If nothing else, it should be a good time to fix up a few things around the house. It could make you feel a lot better about yourself right now, and so should improving your relationship with your parents.
My dad has been making an effort to keep in touch with my sister and I and we have been sending e-mails back and forth! AND I LOVE IT! I actually feel like I can talk to him now!!!

And now that Lela is all moved out my mom and I are redecorating the basement! And I'm finally going to get the couch out of my room!! woot woot!
