The Singapore At Night

The landscape of the CBD, alongside Singapore River. Not to forget that, trees are always either in the way or being part of the landscape, to some eyes they may fit beautifully because that's what sums up Singapore as, but to others, it may be obstructing their photographic angle. But to me, it's as amazing as it is to be part of this beautiful landscape.

What is going on behind/ along those alleys.

Along the shophouses as I walk down the road.

Nearing Chinatown (Hong Lim Complex), where I'm almost quite familiar with. It's still a lovely place I love.

A mini festive atmosphere in Chinatown as we celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival. Pomelos, lanterns, tourists, food and voices fill up the lanes and streets.

Maxwell Food Centre - Hawkers at work.

Tanjong Pagar/ View of Keppel Berth.

Btw I always have a problem with myself holding the camera and it slanting slightly a little, thus photos always disappoint me when it's slanted to the side by a little, having to straighten it via iPhoto. Am still in the midst of correcting it, am always using items to gauge the straightness and telling myself to keep straight.

Anyway, all photos are taken by the new e-mount camera Sony NEX-5 with 18-55mm lens. Bought it at $1188 at Audio House (Liang Court) with cleaning kit, tripod stand, camera bag, 8gb memory card. I don't know much about photography, but just so far, now that I've used it, I would say it's really not too bad, better than I expected it to be. Able to do auto scene selection most of the time accurately, it helps a lot for those who wants photos to be taken fast.

I might just fall in love with this and neglect my Nikon D60 for daily life photography! How I wish my Nikon D60 has a moveable LCD screen + live view so that I won't have to look through the viewfinder to take photos and will be able to take all photographic angles though limited to height restriction. Someone tell me how am I supposed to sell my Nikon D60 but yet keep the Tamron lens of 18-200mm!
