So, I have a LJ. Interesting. I guess that I should start that obligatory explanation of who I am and what not. I'll keep it brief considering I'm really tired.
I'm Madelyn. Or Maddie, that's fine. I was born in San Diego, California on October 22nd. I moved here (Nashville, TN) when I was about four months old with my mom Love and my soon-to-be step-father, Jason. I am therefore Irish/Italian and a Libra (drifting on the cusp of Scorpio). I've been told I have a Real World personality ; I'm constantly stirring up things, be in goofiness or hate and discontent. Mostly I just try not to talk much anymore.
Uhm, I'm a Freshman in college? Woo? I guess. I'm majoring in Theatre and minoring in Journalism. I'm ... a theatre dork, yeah. I'm currently aspiring to just perform on New York street corners for pennies and bottle caps. I'm one of the many crazy kids involved with the Tennessee Repetory Theatre here in town, so they basically own my soul. I'm starring in Gerswhin's Crazy For You in October, joy to the world. Not really.
I have alot of really smart friends, like Kristin and Claire. They're all going to the smart colleges and basically leaving me behind. But it's cool. I'll mooch off of them one day. :) I really love movies. I like, really love BAD movies. It's weird. I could be a movie critic of BAD movies if I wanted. No, probably not, but okay. Uhm, I don't like TV? I don't like the radio, either. I smoke. I don't drink (anymore). I have a tattoo but it's not tacky or anything, and you can't see it. I might get my nose peirced? "Does that hurt or is that ethnic?" as the girl in Fame would say. Gerard Butler is my baby's daddy. He just ... has no idea yet. YET. Of the few people in this world, I actually liked Emmy Rossum as Christine? Save for the fact she had one facial expression and she can't really sing that well (it drives me up the wall when people conveniently forget that she stopped singing at the Met when she was seven, it was never `since`). I'm anal about theatre, obviously. I like making list for no reason. See, watch me go?
Dream Roles:
1.) Eponine in Les Miserables
2.) Meg Giry in Phantom of the Opera
3.) Marguerite in The Scarlet Pimpernel
4.) Marguerite in Faust (I dream big, I can't help it)
5.) Lucy Harris in Jekyll and Hyde (I still dream big, yikes)
As a wee child, I would dance on the coffee table and then shout "Heeeeeere's Johnny!" They have that on video if you need proof. My stomach hurts right now, alot.
So, that concludes my intro. You may go now. :)
