5S
I suddenly got dragged into the 5S committee W.R. Grace Philippines.... To shortly summarize 5S- it's a Japanese system of organizing and cleaning up an area. Since you have a well organized area, your work environment would be cleaner and more efficient since you would know where everything is.
How did I get into the committee? I have no idea. I'm actually one of the last people who should be there. My desk has been photographed almost always when internal safety audits are performed. It actually shocked a lot of people that I, of everyone in the plant, was actually chosen to be a member of such a well organized committee.
