Livejournal bribes their users to regain popularity
Have all users received this notice? Not sure whether this is an April Fools joke. I personally don't see a benefit of paying for a LJ account aside from my journal being able to have a paid theme. Do paid accounts not show ads? If a site that makes money on displaying ads offers to upgrade their most active users and their formerly active users to an account type where those don't appear, what is the logic in that?
