General Rantage

Two things I have to get off my chest, neither of any importance:

1. The Snow

Get over it, UK! News programmes, move on! London and South East, stop crying and get back to work! Teachers, you spend enough time on holiday as it is - also get back to work!

Nooo, I don't want to go back to work! I want to stay at home and watch Jane Seymour movies!

Tea time is a northern thing - don't know what the southerners call it. 'Dinner', maybe. It's around 5-6.00 for me.

And Neighbours is on slap bang in the middle of it. It's just a tradition, and I can't seem to shake the thing! So now that it is absolute pants, and slightly disturbing in its message to young girls, I still watch it but grumble about how crap it is at the same time!

As to the snow, there has been more than in that picture, I just liked the image of the man falling on his arse - on national TV (from the BBC news)! There was about 15-20 cm 'darn sarf' and perhaps 10-15 up here - but only the south threw a panicky fit and didn't go to work, and the news is made down there so - I kid you not - the weather headlined theh news for two days running! When it started moving up the country on Monday night, the southern 'experts' were like, 'Oh, that's alright, then'. And it was, actually, because we're used to it - 'proper' snow is not as common around London. Perhaps because of all the pollution.
