I pretty much don't like my job; one of the worst parts is the hours. In summer I work 8-4 which is great. But once September starts I'll have to go back to 10-6 pm. I hate going out to a cold car and driving home in the dark.
But a bright note! our organization is exploring the idea of urban farming. With all the empty lots* in North Philadelphia there is a lot of potential for growing crops and actually selling them while showing the citizens of poverty that dinner doesn't have to be a bag of potato chips and a
cheese steak. I'm excited because I love growing things plus as you know, I have nearly *zero* gardening I can do from my tiny apartment.
