Fairness
A word that deserves no definition. It is a nonsense word. Fairness. How can their be fairness? The only time we have control of it is when we play games. But how fair is it when two children, same age, neither smarter than the other, have different fates? One may end up in a lovely home,while the other abused by their parents and doesn't live to see teen years. For years i have tried to contemplate whether it just a draw of the hat, complete randomness, or something more. Maybe things happen to people to make them stronger, or teach a lesson to those around them. But what lesson is there to learn when an innocent bystander is shot on the street? Is the lesson to stay inside forever or not stand on the street?
When we leave our cozy homes and venture outside, we have no control whether we make it home.
