Here comes the sun...
After being robbed of the sun for the past 2 weeks, the great ball of fire finally broke through the clouds. It was actually hot today! In retrospect, it was a perfect day.
I met my cousin at his high school (beautiful compared to american high schools) and we spent the day wandering. We went to the Nat'l Taiwan History Museum. Got to see all the pictures of dirty Japanese people oppressing the Taiwanese. Damn dirty Japs. We went to the Hsimen shopping district (think Harvard Square, Newbury Street, and Downtown Crossing all put in one). It was the bomb. CD stores, poster stores, clothing, shoes: all for hip, urbanite twentysomethings. It felt like home. I got some CDs and posters. I'll go back later with more money...
As for the Superbowl...bad. ass.
