Good evening, Johto. Advice from Cecil Harvey and pestering from Misdreavus lead me to this. I would like your honest opinion on which name would be-

Well, on the one hand, Fantasma is, by far, the classier of the two.

Though looking at her attention span? I'd suggest going with a name that can be said, and repeated, as quickly as possible.

[Not that he has experience in difficult pokemon or anything...there's only an eevee sprawled on his head chewing on his hair and all]

Fantasma is a rather elegant name. But Eve also has a certain elegance to it, as well.

And yes, her attention span is quite short. May I ask why that Eevee is chewing your hair? It's not healthy at all.

[Red eyes blink, and then look over at the little brown vulpine. It's almost as if he's so used to this particular flavor of humiliation by now, he hadn't even noticed. Eevee looks over at him with a grin, drops the mouthful of hair and pounces at his face in a fit of licking, despite his spluttered protests]

That's not good. It might eat something dangerous for its health. Try finding a way to break its habit.

And kindly tell it that if it even thinks of tasting me, I have many experiments I would be happy to test on it.

Misdreavus is a ghost-type, right? And Fantasma is a CD by Cornelius. And it also sounds mysterious! Yeah! That's it. It should be Fantasma! Maybe I should name my Eevee, "Eve" when I get it...

I was thinking of naming it "Fantasma" because that is the Italian word for ghost. An may I ask, who is Cornelius?

If I knew that, I wouldn't be asking people for their opinion. I would like to go for originality, and Eve doesn't seem very original. But like you said, it suits her.

This isn't like me to be stuck on such a simple problem.
