Would anyone in Goldenrod or Ecruteak who has obtained the Plain Badge do me the favor of coming to the Sudowoodo tree and removing it? I've heard that you receive a way to move the tree once you get the badge. Any help would be appreciated.

Seems like the best odds of finding information, it's just not something where there's going to be an easy answer - more a case of finding them and where they have some kind of bases than "Hey, you guys wouldn't happen to've been involved in that bug swarm that happened, would you?"

I just need to find one of the loyal ones to investigate.

If the information I have now is accurate, and I haven't had a chance to verify it yet or check too thoroughly into the source, then there's one town where they have some kind of base, and some of the people that get brought here turn up there as hijacked conscripts instead of New Bark Town - in which case I have at least one of their conscripts that wasn't willing and would help work against them.

And if it was false, then there's either nothing there, or some kind of a trap - and if it's a trap and it's approached carefully and with a good escape route, there might still be some information. I want to do a few things to prepare before I try anything, though.
