How annoying that they didn't give his name or the name of the other guy. So what was your Dad's involvement in the Opera House? (Sorry if you mentioned this before; I've been reading every little LJ).

Yeah, it's a bit annoying but he's been in the Sydney Papers heaps of times over the years regarding the Sydney Opera House. I forget his official title but he is an architect and he was Utzon's right hand man on the project. He is mentioned in the article on page 6 as a colleague.

It's sad for my Dad because he was very close with Utzon, not so much after he left Australia although they did stay in touch, Utzon was extremely pissed off at Australia and as mentioned never came back. I lived my first year in a house that was owned by Utzon even though it was after he had left Australia.

P.S. His official title on the SOH was something like 'Project Manager of the 3rd stage'. (stage as in phase not actual physical theatrical stage)
