My mum had a fall on tuesday and found out yesterday that she's broken her arm. It's a compound fracture high on the upper arm and can't be put in a cast so she's got it in a sling.
I'm going to take some time off work and go up and visit. I've got the last class of term 3 to teach next Wednesday then I'll go up to Yack on the Thursday and stay up there for a week.
I'm looking forward to spending some time with Mum n Dad. I suspect i'll be doing a lot of cooking up there and I'll take my paints up too.
