Snowflake Challenge - Day 1
In your own space, talk about why you're participating in Snowflake and, if you’ve participated in the past, how the challenge has affected you. What drew you to it? What did you take away from it? What do you hope to accomplish this year?
2014 was the first year I ever took part in this challenge, and I've done it every year since (I'm a sucker for tradition!) I think it's a great way to see in a new year; allowing you the time and space to really reflect and evaluate your fandom experience, and what it means to you. It encourages you to meet and touch base with people from other fandoms which is something that I don't often do. It also gives me an opportunity to post more, and to share some more personal things which I'd like to do more of this year.
If you've never done this challenge before, I would strongly recommend it. It's a low pressure challenge, and you can pick and choose the days you want to do, and you can post whenever you can. It's a wonderful way to connect with old and new like-minded people, who all treasure their fandom experience ♥
