Faith
Kelly's baby shows her a bright future, and with Cas by her side she knows it's true.
She had doubts before, little voices that were drowned out by the strong heartbeat of her unborn child. But now an Angel of the Lord believes her; an Angel has faith in her child.
The sense of peace she feels is a high she's never known. When she's gone her child will not be alone; her child will be loved and protected, and will be lead down a righteous path. Her child will have the father he deserves, and the father he chose.
A/N: Despite this being a little too light on Sam and Dean for my liking, I really enjoyed this episode! I think I tend to lean more towards myth arch episodes that are more character driven, and I think the writing was strong, and I liked the whole nature vs nurture potential that we seem to heading towards. I'm tempted to say that Kelly and Cas have been 'whammied' in some way, but you just never know with Show, and I still feel it could go either way. It does feel like we're leaning towards a finale where Kelly dies and Cas drives away into the sunset with the baby (whose eyes maybe flash an amber colour as the credits roll...)
